Come learn how you can easily support Alamance County’s efforts to become a certified Work Ready Community – and have lunch! There is no time or financial commitment from companies; simply attend the meeting to learn what this can mean for your company (of 4+ employees) and how it can help as you look to hire new employees.
This is part of a larger state-wide initiative to be a Work Ready State, supporting economic development by providing a workforce with documented foundational skills such as problem solving, critical thinking and locating information. All things an employer looks for in a new hire.
Meaghan Lewis with the NC Chamber, and Robin Bowers with Alamance Burlington Schools will be presenting how this can help employers and build a better pipeline of prepared workers. The meeting is February 21 at noon at the Chamber, 610 S. Lexington Avenue, Burlington. Space is limited, so contact Andrea Fleming at andrea@alamancechamber.com or 336-228-1338 to reserve your seat!
