There is no time or financial commitment from companies\; simply attend the meeting to learn what this can mean for your company (of 4+ employees) and how it can help as you look to hire new employees.\n\n\n\nThis is part of a larger state-wide initiative to be a Work Ready State\, supporting economic development by providing a workforce with documented foundational skills such as problem solving\, critical thinking and locating information. All things an employer looks for in a new hire.\n\n\n\nMeaghan Lewis with the NC Chamber\, and Robin Bowers with Alamance Burlington Schools will be presenting how this can help employers and build a better pipeline of prepared workers. The meeting is February 21 at noon at the Chamber\, 610 S. Lexington Avenue\, Burlington.
