Description
Join us in February as we kick off the 2024 series of Education & Workforce Council meetings.
February will feature the NC Department of Health and Human Services Vocational Rehabilitation programs. Rebecca Evans, Rehabilitation Services Manager, will highlight the services offered to employers, including paid internships, on-the-job training, Windmills Training (Disability Sensitivity Training), assessing workplace accommodations, and providing a unique and diverse talent pool for employers.
Businesses and industries of all sizes are encouraged to attend alongside our education and workforce partners to learn more about the available resources in our community.
Registration is required to ensure lunch is provided.
Established in 2023, the Education & Workforce Council of the Alamance Chamber seeks to serve Alamance County's public and private education partners, industries and businesses of all sizes, and workforce development professionals to ensure a well-connected and cohesive group focused on bettering the workforce pipeline in our community.
