Join us for this year’s Economic Summit, featuring a breakfast program focused on AI, Innovation & Regional Competitiveness and how emerging technologies are shaping the future of business, workforce, and economic growth in our region. Featuring insights from industry leaders, innovators, and economic experts, attendees will explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding artificial intelligence and innovation, and what these advancements mean for businesses, communities, and the continued competitiveness of Alamance County.
The program will feature a keynote address from Dr. John Hardin, Executive Director of the Office of Science, Technology & Innovation (OSTI) at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Haya Ajjan, Dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and Professor of Management Information Systems at Elon University. Panelists Dr. Ken Ingle, of Alamance Community College, Scott Krewson of Anderson Sterilizers, Rob Countiss of AKG-America, and Dustin Gladwell of Charlie Mike and Elon University will share their perspectives on how businesses and organizations are leveraging innovation, adapting to emerging technologies, and preparing for the future.
