Perhaps you've seen Shark Tank, ABC's reality TV series where entrepreneurs present their businesses to a group of (sometimes brutally honest) investors, otherwise known as "sharks." This is a highly dramatized version of a pitch event where entrepreneurs present their companies and speak specifically about raising capital. A Demo Day is an event at which startups predominantly talk just about their products or services. Either way, making an effective "pitch" is a critical skill for an entrepreneur.
The Greensboro Chamber's LaunchLab Growth program culminates with a Demo Day. We are invited to watch the pitches of the entrepreneurs in their program's fall 2022 cohort. This provides an excellent opportunity to learn and lay the foundation of our own companies' pitches.
We will travel as a group. Meet at the Alamance Chamber and board the shuttle no later than 4:10 pm. The shuttle will depart promptly at 4:15 pm. and will return at/around 7:30 pm.
