Join the Alamance Chamber's next All Business Briefing featuring a presentation centered around the impending fiscal "Child Care Cliff" and the potential impacts to our state's economy. This will be a virtual Zoom session on Wednesday, June 12th from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
What does "child care cliff" mean? The federal funding that has sustained our childcare infrastructure through the pandemic is set to decrease dramatically, putting numerous childcare programs at risk of closure. This could not only jeopardize the availability of quality childcare, but could also impact the stability of our state's workforce.
This briefing will feature Davina Boldin-Woods, M.Ed. and Administrator, First Presbyterian Church Child Development Center. Davina will help participants better understand what this could mean for us locally and statewide.
