DESCRIPTION:Apprenticeships are a growing trend in NC for companies training their own skilled workers. The number of registered apprentices in the state has doubled in the past two years.\n\n \n\nJoin us for the April Workforce Council meeting on April 11 at 8:30 am a the Chamber. Kathryn Costelloes\, Director of NC Works Apprenticeship\, and Cassi Zumbiel\, Policy Development Manager\, NC Chamber\, will be sharing information about:\n\n	apprenticeships in NC\n	youth and adult models\n	the differences between an apprenticeship consortium (ex: the Career Accelerator Program-CAP) and individual apprenticeship programs\n	support from the state and NC Chamber\, tuition waivers\n	events and organizations supporting companies with apprentices\n\n \n\nThere will also be companies in the room to address questions and share experiences from company perspectives (youth and adult\, consortium and individual).\n\n\n\nInterested in attending or have questions about the Workforce Council?
