The June meeting will be an open discussion of wants and needs of industry regarding workforce\, and brainstorming potential actions. For example\, a new certificate training under development at ACC for maintenance positions is one action item that has come from this group. In addition to group discussion\, details will be shared about National Manufacturing Day and an initiative by the Manufacturing Council called Dream It. Do It. Both of these items are geared towards building awareness and interest in manufacturing careers. The meeting will be held at the Chamber on June 13 at 8:30.
