DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for a County Wide Budget Workshop on January 5! Participants will have the opportunity to act as the County Manager and Budget Officer for a North Carolina municipality and will be responsible for creating a balanced budget. Attendees will be presented with a scenario and will then work in groups to come up with a financial plan to address the county's needs.\n\n \n\nWe are excited to welcome Susan Roberts as our guest speaker and facilitator for our next Learn with Leaders Series Event. Susan serves as the Finance Officer for Alamance County and is responsible for overseeing the county's finances. Susan manages the budget\, payroll\, accounts payable and accounts receivable\, as well as oversees all staff and activities of the department on a daily basis.   \n\n \n\n This event is hosted by the Leadership Alamance Alumni Association and is open to all chamber members.
